Charity art auction for wildlife
100% of auction proceeds donated to aid wildlife recovery Australia started the new year in the midst of a bush fire crisis, and the consequences have been devastating. Our regional communities have been ravaged, and so has our wildlife. It has been estimated that half a billion animals have perished as a result of mega wildfires across New South Wales and Victoria. Many more animals have been injured or displaced, and volunteer organisations have been working tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate our stranded wildlife. This image of two kangaroos hugging really touched me, and inspired my illustration below.

This original artwork will be auctioned via an ANTICS + ARTISTRY Instagram post from 2pm Sunday 12th - Saturday 18th Jan (11pm AEDT), with 100% of proceeds going to the wildlife fund of the winner's choice. Placing a bid is as simple as posting a comment on the Instagram post stating your bid price in Australian dollars. The auction closes at 11pm AEDT on Saturday 18th Jan, and the winner will be contacted via Instagram on Sunday 19th Jan to arrange the donation.
